Where do you train your clients?
I train my clients in their homes, in public parks, online or at my place, where I have a fully equipped gym room.
What areas do you cover?
I predominantly cover Sri Hartamas and Mont Kiara area but I have personal training clients all over Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley. Locations often depend on my availability.
Why should I choose you to be my personal trainer?
Firstly, have a look at what my clients say about training with me. All of them are real people with real results. Let those results speak for themselves. Secondly, because apart of general personal training, I'm specialising in human movement science and corrective exercise. It means I have an in-depth knowledge of functional anatomy, which allows me to write and teach workout programs for you that will help you train longer and harder while minimising the risk of injury.
What kind of training can I expect during our personal training sessions?
Depends on your goal but we will definitely build a strong core and do resistant (weight) training. Mastering the foundational movement patterns (push, pull, squat, hinge and carry) is also essential. Furthermore depending on your training cycle we train for mobility, strength and power.
I have some existing injuries, can I still train?
It depends. Sometimes I refer clients to medical practitioners for detailed assessments if it seems necessary. Personal trainers don't and cannot diagnose or treat injuries, although after contacting your medical provider I can help to supplement your recovery process by appropriate training.
I've worked this way with several physiotherapists and movement therapists and we've achieved some really amazing results.
Are you an official / registered business?
Yes. Our business (R.A. Better Move Fitness) is registered with SSM. The company's registration number is 2927003-W.
Okay, I'm convinced. Now, how do we start?
Awesome, thank you! First get in touch with me via e-mail or the phone to arrange your complimentary assessment. After the assessment we discuss your results and I answer any of your questions. When you're happy with everything I'll put together a customised training plan for you and we schedule your first session. Before our first session I'll ask you to make a payment.
When and how do I pay you?
Payments always need to be done at least 24 hours before the sessions. If you decide to sign up for a package, it's also a one time payment 24 hours before our first personal training session.
What happens if the customer cannot attend the session?
We have a 24 hours cancellation policy, which means if you cancel within 24 hours then the session is charged. If you sign up for the 12 sessions package, then every package comes with one 'free cancellation'.
Do you do personal training online too?
Yes, I do. I also a do a sort of 'hybrid personal training', during which we meet personally, I correct your form, you learn the exercises, then we do the 'routine work' online, or you do it on your own and I provide feedback and alteration periodically.
